OK Gang, here is a story that involves rock and roll radio, the ocean, government and pirates.
In the 1960's Pirate Radio Stations floated just outside the three mile limits of the British Isles. Needless to say, these unlicensed stations were of concern to the government, who, through the BBC, controlled all broadcasting in England.
Hear the story of one such location, and what has become of it, even today.
Retrospective is heard weekly on the podcast at www.donspodradio.com and here in its entirety.
Listen and enjoy.
