This week, being so close to REMEMBRANCE DAY it is only fitting to remember - both in words and in song - those days when the world went to war!

This two part Retrospective starts with a look at Vera Lynn, the songstress that charmed the troops here and abroad and then finishes with a salute to the man who gave us FLANDERS FIELDS, Colonel John McCrae.

I hope you enjoy this Retrospective look back, and will take two minutes on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month to pause and remember those to whom we owe so much - the fallen troops who many years ago, on battle fields now long forgotten, were responsible for the freedom and prosperity we enjoy today.

Without the sacrifice of so many, our world could have evolved into something very different.

PLEASE REMEMBER

Talk to you next week.
