This week, the story of the man who ultimately may have saved our great country - Canada. Elijah Harper was the first native indian to sit as a parliamentarian, and it was during the Constitutional Debate and the proposed ratification of the Meech Lake Accord that his star rose to the heavens.
Elijah Harper believed in a principle - and stood forward for those beliefs, even though in the end, they cost him dearly.
